Mass notifications of change of system for Camposol urbanisation starts April 3
Procedure for notification and street by street timetable for Mazarrón Council to take over responsibility to complete the public elements of the Camposol urbanisation starts April 3
The Camposol Business Association have been forwarded an announcement by Mazarrón Council after a meeting on March 20 concerning the procedure and initial notification time table for Mazarrón Council to take over responsibility for the completion of the public elements of the Camposol urbanisation.
The procedure starts with notification letters, a legal requirement for the takeover process. Because of the scale of the task of endeavouring to contact as many homeowners as possible on the Camposol urbanisation, which will include absent owners as well as full time residents, the letters will initially be distributed by Council authorised personnel on a door to door basis.
The council stressed that the notification procedure was free to the home owners and no charge or fees would be asked for. Adding that anyone asking for money in return for the notification letters should not be entertained.
The change of management system for Sector A and Sectors B,C,D,F of the Camposol urbanisation is the initial public step towards changing the system of management from the compensation system, which was reliant on the now defunct developer Justo y Manoli SL a subsidiary of conglomerate Grupo MASA, to the cooperation system which entails Mazarrón Council taking on the role of urbanisation developer and starting to plan the works required to complete all sectors of the development.
Fundamentally, changing the management system is the only viable course of action available which complies with Murcia regional urban planning laws. This action also ties in with the Camposol planning modifications announced by Mazarrón Council recently.
The Council announcement and first phase time table is as follows:
“We inform the residents of Camposol that the Mazarrón Town Council will inform them, as interested parties in the procedure, of the Proposed Resolution adopted by Mazarrón Town Council Governing Board in a session held on January 19, 2024, on the initial approval of the change in the action system and the Action Program of the Single AU of Sector A of the A-05-07 area of Camposol of the PGMO of Mazarrón, promoted by this Local Administration.
This April, the mass notification process begins for all residents of Camposol, with the first day being next Wednesday, April 3, in sector A, specifically on Calle Andalucía, from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm
Municipal authorized personnel will carry out the notifications travelling in a white Mazarrón Council vehicle, and will give the residents the certificate of the Government Board agreement that was approved on January 19, 2024, and they must sign the notification received. This starts the period of one month for making the file available from that moment. If no one is at your home on the scheduled day, a second notification attempt will be made at the same address. If in this second attempt it is not possible to notify the interested party, the list of people who could not be located will be published in the Murcia Regional Official State Gazette (BORM).
Due to the volume of notifications to be made, an approximate calendar has been prepared so that residents can know in which streets these communications will be made over the next two weeks, which is as follows:
April 3.- First notification attempt in Calle Andalucía, from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm
April 5.- First notification attempt in Calle Andalucía, from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm
April 8.- Second attempt at notification in Calle Andalucía. First notification attempt in Calle Córdoba
April 10.- Second attempt at notification in Calle Córdoba. First notification attempt in Calle Jaén
April 12.- First attempt at notification in Calle Jaén and Calle Granada
April 15.- Second attempt at notification in Calle Jaén and Calle Granada
April 17.- First attempt at notification in Calle Santiago de Compostela
We ask the residents of sector A of Camposol for maximum collaboration so that the notification process can reach the largest possible number of homeowners and we thank the media for their collaboration in disseminating this information.”
