Official announcement of change of management system for Camposol urbanisation
The regional government officially announces a change of management system to begin the completion of Camposol
The Regional Government of Murcia has published official announcements in the BORM bulletin dated February 26, 2024 for the change of management system for Sector A and Sectors B,C,D,F of the Camposol urbanisation.
This is the initial step towards changing from the compensation system which was reliant on the now defunct developer, Justo y Manoli SL, a subsidiary of conglomerate Grupo MASA, to the cooperation system, which entails Mazarrón Council taking on the role of developer and starting to plan the work required to complete the development.
The change of system is broadly in line with a document published on the Mazarrón Town Hall website in February 2023 which was presented and explained at an open meeting held on February 8 2023 and a meeting with Camposol associations and groups on March 9, 2023. The change was approved on January 19, 2024 by Mazarrón Council’s governing board.
The announcements are listed as number 929 and 930 and are similar in wording but have to be separate as Sector A is on an individual development plan from the rest of the Camposol urbanisation which includes Sectors B,C,D and the as yet undeveloped sector F.
The announcements state that the documentation will be “subject to public information for one month from publication of this announcement in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia (BORM), during which within a period, interested persons may examine and present the observations that they deem relevant to their right, in accordance with art. 199.3.a) of the Law 13/2015, of March 30, on Territorial and Urban Planning of the Region of Murcia.”
The documentation which contains the technical details (Programa de actuación) and Certificate of approval (Certificado acuerdo) can be viewed at the office of Urbanismo in Mazarrón or online on the following links
It has also been stated by the council that notifications will also be sent to the homeowners and titleholders who appear in the Cadastral list (land registry) and where available, in the Mazarrón Property Registry, these notifications will also contain a declaration of receipt to be signed by the property owner and returned to Mazarrón Council along with any observations.
Fundamentally, the documentation affirms that changing the management system is the only viable course of action available which complies with Murcia regional urban planning laws. This action also ties in with the Camposol planning modifications announced by Mazarrón Council recently.
