Ouigo unveils summer sale with Murcia-Madrid for just 9 euros
The French rail operator advises customers to book early to secure the lowest prices
At the end of February, Ouigo re-launched its four daily high-speed train services between the Region of Murcia and Madrid and the French company is already looking ahead to a bumper summer. Getting out ahead of the crowd, Ouigo is about to put tickets on sale for travel between June 30 and December 31 for as little as 9 euros one way.
Passengers can nab the cheap fares, which connect El Carmen Station in Murcia with Madrid-Chamartín, from 12 noon on Thursday March 6.
While most of us are still trying to get through the chill of winter and haven’t even started thinking about the summer holidays yet, Ouigo is urging passengers to book their tickets as early as possible to bag the cheap fares.
Adult tickets between the Region of Murcia and the Spanish capital start at 9 euros while children between four and thirteen years old get a two euro discount. Toddlers and infants under three travel for free as long as they don’t take up an extra seat.
On the Madrid-Chamartín – Murcia line, with stops in Albacete and Elche, Ouigo operates 4 daily trips: two outbound and two return. Trains leave Madrid at 8.15am and 4.15pm, while those from Murcia leave at 12.39pm and 8.39pm.
