Ryanair expands summer flight operations from Corvera airport for 2025
The airline’s 2025 schedule will increase seat availability on direct connections to major destinations, but there is one flight route which will not return this summer
Ryanair has unveiled its summer 2025 schedule for Corvera Airport, offering eight routes that connect Spain’s Region of Murcia with major cities in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
For the summer 2025 high season, travellers can fly with Ryanair directly to the Region of Murcia International Airport from Manchester, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Dublin, East Midlands, Glasgow, London Luton and London Stansted. This selection provides both residents and visitors with a variety of options for their summer travel plans.
The 2025 schedule reflects a 7% increase in the number of available seats compared to the previous year. However, it offers one less route than in summer 2024, as the airline has discontinued its service to Marrakesh.
Last year Ryanair offered 470,000 seats in the spring and summer campaign, which it intends to increase to 500,000 this year. Despite this reduction, Ryanair’s commitment to the region remains strong, with the summer schedule directly supporting over 450 local jobs, according to the airline itself.
To celebrate the launch of the summer flights, Ryanair is offering promotional fares starting at €21.99 for travel until the end of April, with bookings available until March 5.
Elsewhere in Spain, Ryanair recently announced a reduction of 800,000 seats in several regional airports due to an increase in rates that it deemed excessive, though as Elena Cabrera, Ryanair’s spokesperson for Spain and Portugal, pointed out, “Murcia has not had this problem.”
In addition to Ryanair's offerings, Corvera Airport is set to enhance its connectivity with the UK. The airport plans to introduce new flight connections with UK airports, aiming to boost tourism and provide more travel options for passengers. These developments are part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen Murcia’s position as a key destination for international travellers.
