November 2 Entrepasos at the seafront auditorium in Aguilas

The prestigious Paco Rabal Amateur Dramatics season continues at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas

Entrepasos is a disconcerting play in which a company of actors wanders onto the stage apparently from another time, seeming as though they have been travelling from theatre to theatre for centuries. Their clothes are dusty and they bring their own scenery and props with them in a work derived from an idea proposed by Lope de Rueda, one of the first great professional actors and directors in Spain, who lived from 1510 to 1565 (dying when Shakespeare was just one year old).

This performance is offered within the 20th annual Paco Rabal Amateur Dramatics season by the Maru-Jasp theatre company from Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, and begins at 20.30 in the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas. Tickets are available online here for 8 and 10 euros, or alternatively at the local archaeological museum, the Casa de la Cultura and at the box office of the auditorium from 1 hour before the curtain rises.
