Garage fire in La Manga del Mar Menor
The underground parking spot caught fire this Monday
On Monday October 7, the garage of a building in the northern part of La Manga del Mar Menor burst into flames, and needed to be extinguished by firefighters.A fire crew from the Consorcio de Extinción de Incendios y Salvamento and another from Cartagena were quickly on hand to put out the flames, which threatened to spread up through the building.
According to the 112 Emergency Services for the Region of Murcia, police from San Javier also provided support while an ambulance turned up but thankfully did not have to treat anyone for injuries at the scene.
