Alicante woman throws dogs from eighth-floor window because she was 'fed up' of walking them
The 53-year-old admitted killing her pets, claiming she was tired of being the one responsible for taking them outside

The grisly incident occurred at about 1:00 p.m. last Sunday, March 23, on Sol Naciente Street in the La Albufereta neighbourhood. Two passers-by were startled by strange noises and then witnessed a dog fall from a window on the eighth floor. They then watched the woman throwing more objects, including a pet bed, a leash, and several toys - before a second Yorkshire terrier was also hurled out, meeting the same tragic fate.
The police arrived quickly, with both National and local officers attending the scene. After scanning the dogs' microchips, they headed upstairs to the flat, where the 53-year-old Spanish woman admitted to what she had done. According to investigative sources, she complained to officers about feeling frustrated because "it's always my turn" to take the dogs outside. Her husband was also present and confirmed the witnesses’ accounts.
The remains of the pets were collected and taken to an animal shelter. Witnesses later informed the police that, just days before, they had seen other objects - and even turtles - falling onto the same street, which had been closed to traffic due to construction work.
The woman, who has no prior criminal record, was arrested at the scene. Police are continuing their investigation.
