Notifications procedure for Camposol moves onto Sector D
The procedure for the collection of notifications regarding Mazarrón Council taking over responsibility to complete the public elements of the Camposol urbanisation continues on Sector D

Due to staff shortages at Mazarrón Council, which has delayed the ongoing procedure of distributing the notifications regarding Mazarrón Council taking over responsibility to complete the public elements of the Camposol urbanisation, volunteer groups offered to step in and help out, this offer was accepted by the Town Hall.
The procedure has progressed sufficiently and has moved on to Sector D of the urbanisation. However, because of the size of Sector D the documentation will be released in stages. the next stage will be available for homeowners or their proxy Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 1pm at the following locations:
Compusurf office on Camposol B Sector Commercial Centre:
- Sector D: Polígonos D15 to D20
- Sector C: Polígonos C6 to C16
Camposol Social Centre on Sector B
- Sector D: Polígonos D4 to D14
- Sector C: C1 to C5
To collect the documentation, homeowners or their proxy will need to provide an NIE/DNI number.
In addition, all uncollected notification documents for properties on Sectors A and B will be available for collection.
It is hoped that the procedure will progress sufficiently to expand the availability of documentation to all of Sector D and then by mid to late April the process will have reached the point where the distribution can be concluded, at which point an announcement will be published by the Regional Government in the official bulletin portal for a period of 1 month to allow for any comments or suggestions from the public, after which Mazarrón Council can legally initiate the planning procedure to complete the urbanisation.
The notification procedure is a legal requirement for the takeover process and is a legal process similar to a recorded delivery letter in which homeowners sign for a copy of the section of the minutes of the Mazarrón Council’s governing board meeting where the approval of the change of management system for Sector A and Sectors B, C, D & F of the Camposol urbanisation was approved. Signing for the document does not infer that homeowners either accept or reject the content, it is part of the legal process of informing owners of the decision approved by the Council.
The council stressed that the notification procedure was free to the home owners and no charge or fees would be requested. Adding that anyone asking for money in return for the notification letters should not be entertained.
The change of management system for Sector A and Sectors B, C, D & F of the Camposol urbanisation is the initial public step towards changing the system of management from the compensation system, which was reliant on the now defunct developer Justo y Manoli SL a subsidiary of conglomerate Grupo MASA, to the cooperation system which entails Mazarrón Council taking on the role of urbanisation developer and starting to plan the works required to complete all sectors of the development.
Fundamentally, changing the management system is the only viable course of action available which complies with Murcia regional urban planning laws. This action also ties in with the Camposol planning modifications announced by Mazarrón Council recently.
