Murcia weekend weather forecast June 11-14: Hot and sunny spell continues
Summery conditions continue to dominate in the Region this week, with warm temperatures, largely clear skies and only a very slight chance of rain

Minimum and maximum temperatures in Murcia, Sunday June 14
The settled summer weather that has characterised the start of June shows no sign of relenting this week. According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the Region of Murcia can expect predominantly sunny conditions from Thursday through to Sunday, with temperatures climbing into the high 20s and low 30s in central and inland areas, and only a very minor possibility of localised afternoon storms developing towards the end of the period.
Thursday June 11
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday June 11Thursday begins with cloudy skies in the morning, though these will break up during the course of the day to give partly cloudy and then clearer conditions by late afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will rise through the day from around 16-17ºC in the morning to a maximum of 30-31ºC in the hottest part of the afternoon around Murcia city, before easing back to a pleasant 18-20ºC by early evening. A light to moderate southeasterly breeze will pick up during the afternoon, adding a little freshness. Minimum overnight temperatures will remain comfortable at around 17-18ºC.
Friday June 12
Murcia weather forecast, Friday June 12Friday looks like the brightest day of the week. Aemet is forecasting partly cloudy to clear skies for most of the day, with temperatures building steadily through the day. Maximum temperatures will reach around 29-31ºC in the central and inland areas of the Region during the afternoon, while the coastline around Cartagena and Mazarrón will remain a few degrees cooler.
The evening brings high cloud and a “light, variable breeze”. Overnight minimums will again be around 17-18ºC across most of the Region.
Saturday June 13
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Murcia, Saturday June 13Saturday continues the same settled pattern: partly cloudy skies are forecast across the Region, with temperatures largely unchanged from Friday. Daytime highs will again be in the 29-33ºC range inland and in central Murcia, with lighter winds making the heat feel a little more intense.
Overnight temperatures will be around 17-18ºC, with the coast remaining warmer. Minimum temperatures in northern areas such as Yecla and Jumilla will be slightly lower, around 15-16ºC.
Sunday June 14
Murcia weather forecast, Sunday June 14Sunday brings a cloudless sky in the morning, but Aemet introduces a small note of caution for the afternoon. From around 2pm to 8pm, there is a 15% probability of both rainfall and storms developing somewhere in the Region, most likely in the far northwestern reaches where the combination of high surface temperatures and atmospheric moisture can trigger brief, localised convective activity. This is a relatively low probability, though, and most of the Region will see nothing more than some building cloud in the afternoon.
Looking ahead to next week, temperatures are expected to continue their gradual upward trend as we move deeper into summer.
