A glorious summer weekend awaits the Region with wall-to-wall sunshine from Friday onwards, temperatures in the low-30s and virtually no chance of rain
Murcia weather forecast, Sunday July 5
July gets off to an excellent start for the Region of Murcia, with a predominantly sunny and warm four-day period ahead. According to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for Murcia, Thursday will see a brief spell of cloud developing around midday before giving way to sunshine for the rest of the day, while Friday through to Sunday brings three days of essentially unbroken sunshine and temperatures consistently in the low-30s.
Thursday July 2
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday July 2Thursday is the most variable day of the four, though still very much a summer day. The morning starts with clear, sunny skies and temperatures already climbing from around 20ºC at sunrise.
Cloud will build during the middle part of the day – from around midday through to 3pm – breaking the sunshine into sunny intervals and introducing a very slight chance of a passing shower, with a 10% rain probability around 1pm. This is a low probability and most of the Region will see nothing at all, and by mid-afternoon the cloud clears and sunshine returns, with temperatures reaching a maximum of around 31ºC.
Friday July 3
Murcia weather forecast, Friday July 3Friday is a near-perfect summer day. Aemet is forecasting sunny skies all day long with no cloud at all and light winds that will barely register. Temperatures begin the day at around 20ºC, climbing steadily through the morning and reaching a maximum of 33ºC in the hottest part of the afternoon.
Saturday July 4
Murcia weather forecast, Saturday July 4Saturday is the best beach day of the weekend. Cloudless skies are forecast with winds remaining very light. Temperatures will again peak at 33ºC in the afternoon, with overnight lows of around 17-18ºC.
Sunday July 5
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Murcia, Sunday July 5Sunday rounds off the weekend with a similar forecast, but with minimum temperatures rising from Saturday – up to around 20-22ºC after sunset.
Looking ahead to the following week, the heat is set to intensify further, with maximums of 35ºC forecast by Monday and 37ºC by mid-week, as a strengthening high pressure builds over the western Mediterranean and pushes the Region towards the first potential heat episode of July.
