Murcia weather forecast Oct 5-8: Enjoy Monday because the rain is coming back
Clouds will dominate the start of the week with temperatures remaining close to 30°C before unsettled weather returns
Weather alerts in Murcia on Monday October 5
The Region of Murcia gets a short-lived break from the recent wet weather on Monday, but don't expect the sunshine to stick around for too long. Rain is expected to return from Tuesday as unsettled conditions continue across southeastern Spain.
Aemet has also issued a yellow weather warning for the Noroeste on Monday, with the alert running from 4pm until 10pm. Up to 15 litres of rain per square metre could fall in an hour and thunderstorms are also possible.
Monday October 5
Monday will be a day of contrasts. Cloud will remain across much of the Region, but most areas should escape significant rainfall.
The main exception will be the Noroeste, where showers could become heavier during the afternoon and evening. There is also a smaller chance of rain in the Altiplano.
For most people elsewhere, it should be a much calmer day than those that came before it, although the cloud will prevent it from feeling particularly bright.
Temperatures will remain warm, with Murcia city reaching around 30°C and overnight temperatures close to 20°C.
Tuesday October 6
The weather takes a wetter turn on Tuesday, with rain becoming much more likely across the Region.
Aemet is forecasting cloudy skies with rain in Murcia city, with a 65% chance of precipitation during the morning rising to 70% in the afternoon.
The showers won't necessarily be continuous everywhere, so there should still be some dry spells between the wetter periods. Temperatures will dip slightly, with a high of around 28°C and a minimum of 19°C.
There are currently no specific Aemet warning areas listed for Murcia for Tuesday, although the unsettled weather remains part of the wider DANA-related episode.
Wednesday October 7
Wednesday should bring another mixed day, with cloudy intervals and further showers possible. The rain is expected to be lighter and more intermittent than on Tuesday, however.
Temperatures will stay around 28°C, although the cloud and rain could make it feel considerably less summery.
Thursday October 8
The unsettled pattern looks set to linger into Thursday, with showers still possible across parts of the Region.
Aemet currently gives Murcia city a 50% chance of rain, while the maximum temperature should remain around 28°C.
There is no indication at present of a specific Murcia warning for Thursday, but the situation remains changeable as the DANA continues to influence the weather pattern.
