Sixteen venues, two types of tapas and ten delicious days to enjoy them
Food lovers are in for a treat as the Ruta de la Tapa de Altea returns for its eighth edition, running from Friday May 9 to Sunday May 18.This year, 16 local bars and restaurants across Altea are taking part, each offering two tempting options: a seasonal tapa for just 4 euros including a drink, or a gourmet tapa for 6 euros, also with a drink included.
That’s 32 different tapas to try over ten days, with something for every taste – and plenty of excuses to discover new places or revisit your favourites. Among the venues taking part are Antiu Xixona, Bon Vent, El Pulpo, La Clau, Eukaliptus and Marina Lounge, to name just a few.
Whether you’re a regular at the Altea tapas route, or this is your first time exploring the town’s culinary scene, it’s a great chance to support local hospitality while enjoying delicious bites along the way.
So mark your calendar and make the most of this fantastic Altea tapa tour. Ten days, two price points, and a whole lot of flavour.
