Green Fingers Camposol spend the festivo filling in potholes
The volunteer group has also been pulling up weeds and generally helping to make the urbanisation a better place
In a fantastic showing of community spirit, the Green Fingers Camposol maintenance team and volunteers have been at it again, making repairs to the local roads after the recent storms.
Alan, Andy and Kevin from Green Fingers filled in the potholes this Wednesday March 19, a bank holiday in Murcia and a day that gave some respite from the rain.
Meanwhile, Jan and John “battled against the numerous weeds that have sprouted following the deluge we’ve recently experienced” and John and Paddy manned the collection buckets, receiving donations of €255.
Green Fingers extended their thanks “to everyone that donated and all thanks to Cats Bar and Angie for making the breakfasts”.
At the same time, the notifications procedure to allow the town hall to take over responsibility for the roads and other infrastructure on Camposol is move ahead at a good pace, and has already started on Sector D, which will see a phased approach due to its size.
