Six teams from Murcia, Almería and Alicante enjoy a day of football organized by Camposol Walking Football Club

On Thursday April 13 the Rendezvous Cup 2023, a Senior soccer tournament, was held at Mazarrón Sports Complex with six teams taking part from the Region of Murcia and neighbouring provinces, all made up of players of different nationalities.

Camposol Walking Football Club were formed in 2021 and train at the Complejo Deportiva Puerto de Mazarrón and the football pitch on Sector D of the Camposol urbanisation. In addition to the local team and organizer Camposol WFC, the other teams were the Walking Football Club of Zurgena from the Valle del Almanzora in Almería, Formentera Walking Football Club of Formentera del Segura (Alicante), PR Esquina de Rojales (Alicante), Red Lion Fortuna (Murcia) and the winner of the Portobello tournament in Pinatar de Campoverde (Alicante).

Throughout the morning the matches took place in a fantastic atmosphere of camaraderie where spectators and players gathered to cheer on their teams on the pitch. More than 100 players took part in a day of fun and sport where the good weather allowed them to enjoy a superb tournament that they hope will be repeated.
