Aguilas beaches ready to receive tourists this Easter
The Town Council is finalising the preparation of the municipal beaches for Easter Week
Águilas Town Hall is now finalising the work to prepare the town’s beaches for Easter.
The aim is that, during the upcoming Easter holidays, people living in the area and tourists coming to visit can enjoy the coastline “in perfect condition,” according to the Councillor of Cleaning, Noelia Ruano.
“After the storms of recent weeks, work has been reinforced in order to leave the beaches in optimum condition,” she said.

To this end, cleaning work using diggers and teams of people cleaning by hand have been deployed to the beautiful, award-winning beaches of Águilas to level out, turn over and aerate the sand.
In a second phase of work, the sand is being screened to separate it from any rubbish or waste that shouldn’t be there.
In addition, extra dustbin containers have been placed on the busiest beaches and there’s even a plan to distribute rubbish bags and ashtrays to people visiting the beaches.
