Valencian Community all public holidays and festivos 2024
Here are all the official public holidays in 2024 for Valencia, including Alicante and Castellón provinces
This is the full calendar of holidays from work and school in the Comunitat Valenciana for the year 2024.
This list doesn’t include the festivities of the Bonfires of San Juan on March 24 as a regional public holiday because it falls on a Sunday this year.
These will be the public holidays in the Valencian Community:
- January 1: New Year’s Day
- January 6: Epiphany of the Lord
- March 19: San José
- March 29: Good Friday
- April 1: Easter Monday
- May 1: Labour Day
- August 15: Feast of the Assumption
- October 9: Day of the Valencian Community
- October 12: Spanish National Day
- November 1: All Saints’ Day
- December 6: Constitution Day
- December 25: Christmas Day
To these are added two more days which are allocated by each city, town or village for its own festivites.
What ‘puente’ long weekends will Valencia and Alicante have in 2024?
2024 begins with a long weekend for New Year, and there is another puente in March 2024 for Easter week.
There is another 3-day puente in November because All Saints’ Day (November 1) falls on a Friday.
The year ends with one last long weekend in December with Constitution Day (Friday December 6).
