Until March 21 Ad Intra Semana Santa exhibition in Mazarron

The annual Semana Santa exhibition is being held in the church of the Purísima Concepción in Mazarrón

Throughout Spain there is already a great sense of anticipation ahead of the Semana Santa processions this year, and the town of Mazarrón is no exception.

Lent is now well under way and the “Ad Intra” exhibition is being held for the fifth time in the church of the Purísima Concepción in Mazarrón. This recent tradition was initiated when pandemic restrictions were still in place, in 2021, and has now become a regular addition to the traditional religious processions which have been held in the town since the 16th century.

The Ad Intra exhibition in the church of the Purísima Concepción runs until March and can be visited every day of the week except Sundays between 9.30 and 13.30. QR codes are present in each of the chapels to enable visitors to access information and explanations.
