Unsettled weather all weekend: Murcia forecast Mar 28-31
There will be a good chance of rain over the Easter weekend in the Region of Murcia but temperatures remain mild
Weather Outlook on Easter Sunday
The weather over the last few days has wreaked havoc in the Region of Murcia, and several processions and other Easter celebrations had to be called off due to wind warnings and rain. In the rest of Spain, the storms and gales will rage all weekend and while the weather remains unsettled in Murcia, the temperatures will continue to be mild and all of the alerts will be lifted over the next day or two.
Thursday March 28
Thursday will still be largely unsettled, with mostly cloudy skies throughout the day, punctuated by occasional rain showers. Temperature highs will reach 23ºC during the day and drop to 10ºC at night. A light breeze from the south is expected.
Lorca, Águilas, Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón have been issued with yellow weather alerts for rough seas from 11am until the early evening.
Friday March 29
Good Friday will be largely sunny although the cloud cover will begin to increase from midday. Temperatures will remain steady, with highs of 24ºC and lows of 5ºC inland. Southerly winds will blow throughout the day.
Saturday March 30
Easter Saturday is forecasted to be mostly cloudy with a chance of scattered showers, particularly in the afternoon. Temperatures will dip quite a bit, with highs of 20ºC and lows of 4ºC. Southwesterly winds will blow, occasionally strong with powerful gusts near the coast.
Sunday March 31
It will be very overcast on Easter Sunday and there’s a good chance of rain, although this is more likely inland, and the skies will clear later in the afternoon. Daytime temperatures will start to climb along the coast but few changes are expected Sunday night. Moderate westerly winds will develop into very strong gusts in the south during the afternoon.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in the Region of Murcia:
- Thursday March 28: 10ºC to 23ºC
- Friday March 29: 5ºC to 24ºC
- Saturday March 30: 4ºC to 20ºC
- Sunday March 31: 6ºC to 21ºC
