Tourist dies after 30ft fall on clifftop path in Pilar de la Horadada
The 28-year-old reportedly slipped while trying to pick up his glasses on the Orihuela Costa walkway

A 28-year-old Colombian man has died after falling around 30 feet while walking along a coastal path in Pilar de la Horadada.
The accident happened at around 7pm on Sunday March 15 as the man was walking with his partner near the area of the Hotel Manoli. According to early reports, he is believed to have lost his balance while trying to retrieve his glasses after they fell.
The path, which runs along a clifftop above the Rubio ravine, is popular with walkers but is known for its steep sections and lack of protective barriers in some areas.
His partner raised the alarm immediately, and a group of passing cyclists stopped to help while emergency services were contacted.
Police divers were later deployed to recover the body. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
