The main bus and coach station in Torrevieja is at Calle del Mar, 50, about 500 metres from the seafront, 
directly inland from the beaches of the Piscinas Naturales.
Vehicle access is normally from the wider avenue of Calle Antonio Machado, which is a continuation of the Avenida de las Habaneras.
Apart from local bus services within Torrevieja itself and to neighbouring municipalities there are also coach services to Murcia, Cartagena, Alicante and Madrid, and a special direct service to Alicante-Elche airport in El Altet. The bus station also has a café, a small supermarket, public toilets and a small kiosk selling newspapers, magazines and refreshments.
The bus station offices open from 7.00 to 21.00.

Bus journeys around town in Torrevieja normally cost 1.35€, although for residents (those who are inscribed on the Padrón) an annual ticket (“tarjeta ciudadano”) can be obtained for only 7€. The same document gives free entry into the floating museums in the port of Torrevieja, and can be purchased at the Oficina de Registro General del Ayuntamiento at Calle Bazan,6.
