These are the most in-demand jobs in Spain for 2023

Prior to the economic crisis of 2007 and recession in 2009, Spain's economy was one of the strongest in the European Union, but it's had its fair share of knocks over the last decade or so.

A promising growth was dealt a major blow with the onset of the Covid pandemic, which hit the job market hard. Around 19.77 million people are currently employed in Spain, which is above the European average, So, coupled with the cost of living crisis, what's the outlook for the Spanish job market in 2023?

Professional social network LinkedIn has studied the current situation to determine what jobs are most in-demand in Spain, for both foreigners and Spaniards alike.

It has compiled a ranking of some of the fastest growing professions in Spain, a job market that is becoming increasingly international with some of the best employment opportunities for English speakers, beyond teaching. The list also offers an insight into which sectors offer the best long-term opportunities, including remotely.

Leading the way are jobs primarily related to cyber security, sales, logistics, finance and sustainability, many of which include career opportunities for British job seekers in Spain, particularly within the digital world.
