Taking the stress out of probate and estate administration in Spain
Thy Will Be Done helps families navigate probate and inheritance across Spain and the UK
For many people, dealing with probate and estate administration after the death of a loved one can be daunting on two very different levels.
There is the emotional side, with the whole process being difficult to cope with while grieving and everything serving as a reminder of the person who has died. Then there are the practical challenges of knowing where to start, particularly when dealing with a language barrier and the logistics of ensuring everything is completed within the required time scales.
This can include paying the relevant taxes due and potentially liaising with beneficiaries in the UK to obtain their NIE numbers, all while dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Fortunately, help is at hand.
Thy Will Be Done has been awarded "highly recommended" status at the British Wills and Probate Awards and specialises in probate and estate administration in both Spain and the UK.
With offices in both countries, the company can make the process of liaising with UK-based beneficiaries much easier. Thy Will Be Done can also arrange the NIE numbers beneficiaries need in order to receive their inheritance, without requiring them to travel to Spain.
Many expats choose to appoint Thy Will Be Done as their executors within their Spanish wills. This can remove the need for beneficiaries to find a Spanish lawyer and give them Power of Attorney to act on their behalf when the time comes.
The company can take care of the entire process, from valuations and house sales through to ensuring that the lowest amount of tax is legally paid.
For anyone wanting to ensure their family does not have to deal with the stress of probate on their Spanish estate when the time comes, Thy Will Be Done can provide support and assistance. The company can also help those who are currently dealing with the estate of a loved one.
