Rain and snow forecast in parts this weekend: Alicante weather March 26-29
Alicante can expect rain and even snow this weekend, but only on one day and in certain areas…

Most of the weekend, and the days bookending it, will be pleasant and sunny with some cloud cover in the province of Alicante, though the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) does forecast rainfall and even a chance of snow in some parts of Alicante on Sunday!
Thursday March 26
Alicante weather forecast, Thursday March 26For Thursday, Aemet forecasts “partly cloudy skies” with “minimum temperatures unchanged or rising slightly” at around 5-9ºC along the coast and 2-4ºC inland, while “maximum temperatures are falling, with a noticeable drop in some areas”, at around 17-21ºC in the southern half of the province and 15-18ºC in the north.
Along the coast, a moderate northeasterly wind will blow in the morning, shifting to easterly from midday and tending to ease off towards the end of the day. Elsewhere, they say, there will be “light to moderate winds of variable direction, shifting to an easterly component during the afternoon”.

Alicante weather forecast, Friday March 27Friday brings more cloud, but still with plenty of sunshine and few changes to temperatures, while windspeeds will continue to be mild and light.
Saturday March 28
Alicante weather forecast, Saturday March 28For Saturday, Aemet notes that, while minimum temperatures at night will not change much, maximum temperatures during the day will rise slightly. They also predict “light frosts in the northern inland areas” and a “moderate wind with very strong gusts from the northwest”.
Sunday March 29
Alicante weather forecast, Sunday March 29Finally, Sunday brings a slight chance of snow to far northern municipalities like Ibi and Alcoy, while there is rain forecast for much of the rest of the province – especially the northern coastal areas like Calpe and Benidorm in the morning, shifting down to Alicante capital, Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa by the afternoon.
But don’t worry, because next week’s weather forecast looks set to promise us dry and sunny weather with continuing mild temperatures.
