200 Ironmen and Ironwomen compete over varying distances in a gruelling endurance and fitness test

October 1 First Mazarron triathlon event at the beach of Bolnuevo Around 200 athletes are registered to take part on October 1 in the first Mazarrón triathlon event, which takes place on Sunday October 1 at the beach of Bolnuevo.

It is here that the swimming legs will be held before the cycling route follows the RM-332 road to the crossroads with the road to Leiva on the D-4, also passing along the Paseo Alcalde Francisco García Méndez.

There are three separate events being held: the full triathlon (half-Ironman, over a distance of 20 km), the Olympic (1.5 km + 40 km + 10 km) and Aquabike (1.9 km swimming and 80 km cycling).
