New AVE train service to connect Sevilla, Córdoba, Aragón and Cataluña without transfers
Starting April 23, Renfe will launch a direct high-speed rail service linking Andalucía and Barcelona, making travel more convenient

The new daily AVE service will depart from Sevilla-Santa Justa at 6.00am, and arrive at Barcelona-Sants at 12:41pm. It will then continue to Figueres, reaching its final destination at 1.44pm. Along the way, it will stop at several key stations, including Córdoba, Puertollano, Ciudad Real, Madrid, Zaragoza, Lleida, Tarragona, and Girona.
For the return journey, the train will depart from Barcelona-Sants daily at 4.58pm (except on Saturdays), and will reach Sevilla at 10.49pm, with stops in Zaragoza, Madrid, and Córdoba.
The new AVE route will supplement the current schedule between Sevilla and Barcelona, which already includes six direct daily services, four AVE trains, and two Alvia trains from Cádiz, Sevilla, and Barcelona.
Additionally, Renfe will continue to provide travel options with two-train connections, through a single integrated ticket for passengers who need to transfer along their route.
Travellers can find more details, on the new service, and purchase tickets through Renfe’s website at www.renfe.com, its official app, local stations, or by calling 912 320 320.
