New attempts have begun to build 32 semi-detached houses on the banks of the Campoamor boulevard
With large, single-family detached homes no longer selling well, developers have decided to start along a new path
Many developers believe that with rising house prices continually soaring there will be less need for single-family homes in Spain. That is why the main developer in Campoamor is currently promoting the transformation of two large plots in this exclusive Orihuela development for semi-detached houses where detached houses once stood.
The development is to take place in three blocks located in the Y-1 sector of Campoamor, on the banks of the Nacimiento River Rambla, next to Rosa Montero Street. The current plans are considering three independent blocks with 24 independent chalets.
The complex will have 32 semi-detached houses with many common areas in a model which is already known on the Orihuela Costa. The prices will be lower than that of the chalet, and therefore they will hopefully attract more potential clients.
This new planning and modification to the plans contemplates setting back and moving the buildings away from the Río Nacimiento area, leaving a green area and pedestrian path in between for everyone to enjoy.
This same plan has already been publicly exposed last year when published in the Official Journal of the Generalitat. In its previous statement, the General Directorate of Urban Planning of the Generalitat gave its initial approval for the request for compensatory measures for the loss of local shrubland.
The developers therefore, proposed in its final version implanting 500 seedlings of this shrub in the appropriate spaces present inside the Rambla de la Estacas.
