New Altaona resort to become one of the top places for sports and wellbeing in Murcia
The tranquil new-build resort in central Murcia will soon even have its own artificial beach to add to the impressive range of leisure activities, which aim to increase life expectancy for residents
The new Altaona golf course and residential resort in central Murcia being built and marketed by property developer The Art of Living in Spain (TAOLIS), is forging ahead with its commitment to become the top resort for sports in the Region, doubling down on its sporting, lifestyle and wellbeing offering.
Altaona is located just 15 minutes by car from Murcia capital city, 20 minutes from the beaches of the Mar Menor, and has impressive views of the El Valle and Carrascoy regional park. It is also very close to the international airport of the Region of Murcia and within an hour of Alicante airport.

Such a strong investment in golf and other sports is effectively transforming the urbanisation into the ‘Altaona Sports and Wellness Resort’, a place that aspires to get on the list of ‘Bluezone’, the places where people live longer lives as they live in a purpose-built holistic environment that is conducive to mental and physical well-being and longevity.
This commitment to sports, health and wellness is also reflected in Altaona’s newly built properties – both villas and apartments – which pay special attention to green spaces, common and recreational areas so that young people and adults can enjoy a natural and stress-free life.
