Temperatures in Murcia will drop slightly midweek, but it will still be pleasantly warm

This week in the Region of Murcia, we will have sunny days and warm nights, with almost zero chance of rain, though there might be some windy episodes, especially in coastal areas.
For Monday May 13, the State Meteorological Agency forecasts some cloudy intervals, but it will mainly be sunny and warm, with minimum temperatures not dropping below 13-15ºC and maximums potentially reaching over 30ºC in the centre and north of the Region, around Cieza and Murcia capital.
Tuesday 14 promises more “fairly cloudy or clear skies, with intervals of low clouds and morning mist in the northwest and the Campo de Cartagena”. Temperatures continue to rise, both at night and during the day, with the coastal areas typically being several degrees cooler than the regional maximum and a couple of degrees warmer than the regional minimum.
Also on Tuesday, the neighbouring province of Almería to the west is on yellow alert for moderate windspeeds, so places like Águilas, Lorca and Mazarrón may also feel the side-effects of that, with windspeeds in excess of 25kmh. For now, though, the Region of Murcia has not been placed on alert.
From Wednesday 15 onwards, temperatures will drop slightly, but on Saturday 18 they rise again to bring us another warm and sunny weekend, with some cloudy periods. Over the course of the week, it will become less humid, meaning we’re in for a hot, dry and summery one.
