Murcia weekly weather forecast February 3-9: Temperatures stay chilly on another calm week
Wrap up warm as temperatures will stay steady at their current cold level, or even drop a little this week
Murcia weather forecast, Wednesday February 5
It will mostly be a cold and cloudy week in Murcia, according to the weather forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), who also predict mainly dry conditions, with the exception of some rain this Monday February 3.
The rain will be mainly focused around the south of the Region, around Lorca, Águilas and Mazarrón, and reaching up to Alhama de Murcia around midday and in the early afternoon. It may shift over towards Cartagena and the Mar Menor towards night-time, but the central and northern parts of Murcia will remain dry.

This Monday will see minimum temperatures of 1ºC in the north and 7-9ºC in the southern half, while daytime maximums will reach 14-16ºC in most places – a full 10 degrees lower in all cases than the same time last week!
Minimum temperatures in Murcia, Tuesday February 4
These chilly conditions are set to continue through the week with little variation, perhaps just a slight rise in the maximums by a couple of degrees as the week goes on.
After the rains on Monday, the rest of the week should be sunnier with little cloud cover – especially on Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 – while it will start to cloud over more from Thursday 6 onwards.
The brisk, cloudy conditions with moments of sunshine will continue on Friday 7 and into the weekend, which should stay dry and still cold, with temperatures perhaps dropping a degree or two by Sunday 9.
At no time will the windspeeds be very strong, though the low night-time temperatures could mean episodes of frost for the northernmost areas of Murcia, with the snow level set at around 1,200-1,500 metres.

- Saturday February 8: Min -1ºC; Max 17ºC
- Sunday February 9: Min -2ºC; Max 16ºC
