Murcia weekend weather forecast May 1-4: Rainy patches but still warm
While temperatures stay at an even 30ºC, there could be a couple of rainy days this weekend
Murcia weather forecast, afternoon of Saturday May 3
After a couple of windy days this week, it will be less blowy in the Region of Murcia as we go into the weekend. However, while temperatures remain stable at just under 30ºC, both Friday and Saturday could bring rain to the Region, according to the weather forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
For Thursday May 1, which is a bank holiday in the entire country, Aemet predicts "fairly cloudy skies, with intervals of low morning clouds inland" and "light northerly winds, becoming easterly, with moderate intervals on the coast," but overall it will be a warm, calm and pleasant day.

On Friday May 2, though, there could be some "occasional light rainfall, more likely and heavy from the afternoon onwards in the northwest," though most of the rest of the Region should remain unaffected by the rain.

The rain becomes more widespread on Saturday May 3, reaching down as far as Mazarrón and Fuente Álamo in the morning, then covering the north, west and centre of the Region of Murcia in the afternoon, and could be "accompanied by thunderstorms". Still, Aemet notes that Cartagena and the Mar Menor area will probably be left alone, temperatures remain "unchanged" and the wind will not be too strong.

For Sunday 4, the weather is predicted to go back to its usual sunny self "with intervals of medium and high clouds" and temperatures still hitting highs of 25-29ºC and lows of night of around 11-17ºC, chillier in the north and inland and higher on the coast.
