Murcia tour operator schedules one-off direct flight from Corvera to a beautiful EU city this July
Organised package holidays are in addition to the regular flights in and out of Murcia Airport this summer
The summer flight season at the Region of Murcia International Airport in Corvera has been underway for more than a month now, offering a bumper roster of 23 flight destinations.
Now, Murcia-based tour operator Soltour has earmarked the date for a special, one-off direct flight to come this July that will give people in Murcia the chance to discover an incredible, but oft-overlooked, EU country.
On Saturday July 6, Soltour will be sending passengers on a direct flight from Murcia to Tirana, the capital city of Albania, with both travel and accommodation included in the package deal.
Soltour’s Sales Director for Spain and Portugal, Luis Santos, has highlighted the advantages of this new route. “Albania offers a rich mix of culture, history and natural landscapes, all accessible via a short and direct flight. This direct connection not only benefits travellers from Murcia, but also promotes tourism and cultural exchanges between Murcia and Albania.”
The organised trip to Tirana involves a visit to the National Museum of History and provides travellers with the chance to admire communist-era architecture and enjoy the capital’s lively nightlife.
Beyond the capital, travellers can also discover Golem, a coastal town in the west of the country with quiet, golden sandy beaches by the Adriatic Sea, perfect for relaxing if you fancy a change of scenery from Murcia’s lovely beaches.
The itinerary also includes Durres, a city steeped in history with a Roman amphitheatre, and Radhime-Vlorë with its beaches of crystal-clear water, hidden bays and exquisite seafood.
This new direct flight is part of a wider effort to connect Murcia with emerging tourist destinations, in the hopes of strengthening economic and cultural relations with other countries.
