Mild start, wetter finish: Alicante weather forecast October 12-15
A warm and largely clear Monday and Tuesday give way to low cloud and rain from Wednesday as the week turns more autumnal
After last weekend's cooler reset, Alicante province begins this week on a relatively bright note, with temperatures nudging back up and largely clear skies to start. The second half of the week is a different story, with cloud rolling in and rain likely by Wednesday and Thursday, particularly in the south. Worth keeping an eye on if you've got plans later in the week. Let's take a look at the daily breakdown:Monday October 12
Alicante weather forecast, Monday October 12A good start to the week, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures gently rising. Alicante city should feel comfortable and warm, and Orihuela and Elche inland are likely to see some of the best of the day. Minimum temperatures edge slightly upward, with little change in daytime highs. Winds are light and variable, turning southerly and easterly through the middle of the day. A decent Monday all round.
Tuesday October 13
Alicante weather forecast, Tuesday October 13Another fairly gentle day. Low cloud intervals through the morning, including some mist or fog patches in inland depressions, particularly around areas like the Vega Baja, before skies clear through the middle of the day. Temperatures are rising slightly or unchanged. Dénia and the northern Costa Blanca should enjoy a pleasant Tuesday once that morning cloud lifts. Winds are light and variable, predominantly southerly and easterly around midday.
Wednesday October 14
Alicante weather forecast, Wednesday October 14The mood shifts. Cloudy skies, mostly low cloud, move in across the province with a chance of light rain. Maximum temperatures ease back and minimums hold steady. Benidorm and the central coast will notice the change from the past couple of days. Winds turn easterly through the middle of the day, staying light throughout. Not a washout by any means but worth having a jacket to hand.
Thursday October 15
Alicante weather forecast, Thursday October 15The wettest day of the period. Cloudy skies continue, with light rain likely in the southern half of the province and probable in the north too. Torrevieja and the Vega Baja are in line for the most persistent rain, while Alcoy inland may see a slightly drier time of it. Temperatures ease slightly or hold steady. Winds are light and variable again, becoming easterly through the day.
A week that starts with something approaching an Indian summer and ends with a proper autumnal Thursday. Make the most of Monday and Tuesday while they last.

- Tuesday October 13: Min 15; Max 29°C
