Live musical entertainment, traditional games and hearty food in the south-west of the municipality of Mazarrón

The annual fiestas in the village of Cañada de Gallego, in the south-west of the municipality of Mazarrón, are held in honour of San Antonio, whose feast day falls on June 13, and the events in the 2024 schedule last from June 11 to 16:

Tuesday June 11

21.00: Dinner at Bar Sol for the elderly of the village with entertainment from Sara Yuste.

Wednesday June 12

21.00: Opening of the fair and opening speech given by Ascensión López Ramírez.

22.00: Naming of the adult and children’s Fiestas Queens.

23.00: Live music from Los Luisos followed at 1.00 by DJ Ruby.

Thursday June 13

11.30: Holy Mass and First Communion for various local children.

12.00: Procession in the streets of the figure of San Antonio.

20.30: Dancing for the children of the village and district.

21.30: Performance by the De Rosa dance academy.

22.30: Live music from Marisol Segura.

23.00: Migas cooking contest.

Friday June 14

17.00: 2 for the price of 1 at the fairground.

19.00: Kids’ festival.

22.00: Live music from Six Seven followed at midnight by DJ Ruby.

Saturday June 15

22.00: Live music from Los de la Juana followed at 22.30 by El Tributón and at 1.30 by DJ Ger.

Sunday June 16

14.00: Community lunch with free paella for all.

16.00: Musical bingo.

19.00: Fun and popular games.

22.00: Comedy monologue by Los Quillos.

Midnight: Firework display to end the fiestas.
