July 21 to 25 International classical guitar festival in Mula

A series of evening concerts at the Convento de San Francisco in Mula

From 21st to 25th July the Convento de San Francisco in Mula is hosting the 6^th annual “ciudad de Mula” International Guitar Festival and Competition, featuring masterclasses, internationally known musicians and a series of concerts at the same venue.

This is a great chance to enjoy the typically Spanish sounds of the classical guitar and the concert schedule is as follows:

Tuesday 21^st July

21.00: Paco Seco from Spain and Lydie Fuerte from France.

Wednesday 22^nd July

21.00: Tom Hodgkinson from Great Britain and Sotha Nakabayashi from Japan.

Thursday 23^rd July

21.00: “Hispania: Verso y Madera” with Elena Ortega from Spain and the Verso y Madera duo from Chile and Spain.

Friday 24^th July

21.00: The final of the Ciudad de Mula international guitar competition.

Saturday 25^th July

21.00: Alberto Quintanilla from Mexico and Alex Garrobé from Spain.
