January 31-March 22 Mazarrón celebrates new parks and playgrounds with special entertainment for children
Throughout Mazarrón, 10 parks and gardens have been updated to make them more accessible, fun and safe spaces
Over the next three months, Mazarrón will host a series of fun-filled activities for children to commemorate the renovation of the municipality's parks and playgrounds. This initiative, spearheaded by the Town Hall, aims to provide families with safe, modern and inclusive leisure spaces while encouraging community connection and enjoyment for the youngest residents.
During the event's presentation, Mayor Ginés Campillo emphasised the importance of investing in infrastructure that enhances the quality of life for local families.
“The renovation of the playgrounds was a promise and is a sign of our commitment to the well-being of the families of Mazarrón. With these activities we want to give relevance and importance to something that had never been done before, such as the renovation and adaptation of all the parks in the municipality,” he said.
The newly updated parks now feature spaces that are fully accessible for individuals with reduced mobility, making them enjoyable for everyone.
Councillor Tomás Ureña, who played a key role in organising the festivities, highlighted the variety of activities designed to entertain children of all ages.
“We have prepared a series of activities that include inflatables, workshops, storytelling and much more. Ten parks have been renovated and the activities will be carried out in the 5 largest ones so that families can enjoy these new spaces while the children have fun,” he added.
