Harlem Globetrotters return to Murcia this May

The amazing basketball team will be wowing audiences once more in 2024, two years after they last came to Murcia

The Harlem Globetrotters, the famous US trick basketball team that has been performing its magic on courts all over the world for decades, will return to Murcia this year as part of their international tour.

They were last in Murcia on May 13, 2022, and now the Harlem Globetrotters will be returning to perform at the Palacio de los Deportes in Murcia city almost exactly two years later – on Friday May 17, 2024.

This will be one of just 10 stops they will be making in Spain as part of their World Tour 2024, with the others being Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, Vigo, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Lleida, Castellón, Córdoba and Barcelona.

Last year, their tour focused on other Spanish cities but missed Murcia out, something that will be rectified this year.

Founded in 1926, the Globetrotters have visited 124 countries in almost a century and are part of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

In their shows, players with incredible basketball skills show off just what an athlete is able to do in a way that is fun and entertaining for all the family.

The Globetrotters hold a series of world records, such as the alley oop performed from the greatest ever distance, the basket scored blindfolded from the furthest distance and the most medium-distance baskets made in one minute.
