A phone call is enough to avoid leaving bulky furniture in the streets of San Javier

Some people living in the municipality of San Javier continue to be either unaware of the free unwanted furniture collection service which is offered, or unwilling to use it.

If you are disposing of unwanted old furniture in San Javier, or if you can see that a neighbour is doing so, it is not necessary to leave large and bulky items in the street: simply call the collection service on 900 103713 and inform them of the nature of the furniture and the location.

Great efforts are made in San Javier to encourage recycling and the conscientious disposal of waste, and in many fields the campaign appears to be meeting with success. For example, over 26 kilos of glass per inhabitant is collected for recycling every year, almost double the average in the whole of the Region of Murcia (15.7 kilos).
