Spectacular costumes and bodies covered only in paint at the Auditorio Infanta Elena in Águilas
This annual event has become one of the most popular included in the Águilas Carnival celebrations, awarded International Tourist Interest status, with extravagant and exhuberant costumes fashioned entirely from paper displayed alongside other costumes made using… well, practically nothing at all other than body paint!
The 22nd annual competition takes place on Sunday February 12 in the Auditorio y Palacio de Congresos "Infanta Doña Elena" and starts at 21.00, with tickets available online here and priced at 5, 7 and 10 euros. Tickets can also be purchased at the Museo Arqueológico, the Casa de la Cultura and at the auditorium box office in the two hours before the event begins.
