ARCHIVED - Dog goes missing from Camposol after home burglary
Zero, 13, ran away from the house after robbers left the door open this weekend
Desperate dog-carers have shared a plea for help on Facebook after the dog they were looking after for a sick friend went missing from their home on Calle Toledo in Camposol’s A Sector during a burglary at the property this weekend.
According to friends of the distraught family, Zero is a “little dog, female about 13 years old”, and she “ran from the house” while the break-in was happening.
At the time she disappeared on Saturday February 11, Zero was wearing “a pinky coloured harness with a yellow pattern”.
The dog was being cared for by a family friend while her owner was in hospital, and the burglary took place while these friends were at work during the day.
“When the burglars left they left the door open. Zero ran out of the house, she was very distressed.
“Zero is not familiar with Camposol. Zero lived in Bolnuevo. She has been missing for 24 hours. We need to find her.”
“Please look anywhere where Zero could have got to,” they said. “Zero doesn’t like being wet. She could be sheltering somewhere. Check your gardens if she has managed to get inside.”
“We need to get her home, the family are going through enough,” they concluded.
Anyone who has seen Zero can call +34 608 203 452.
