You can now also read the Costa Blanca's newest weekly print publication, CWN, in digital format on their brand-new website
Readers interested in up-to-date information about Alicante and the coastal areas of southeast Spain can now access the Costa Weekly News (CWN) newspaper online via the newly launched website www.costaweeklynews.com, and just like the print version of the paper it is absolutely free of charge!
As a weekly printed newspaper, CWN hit the shelves of Alicante establishments in February 2026 to offer high-quality print journalism in English to the expat and English-speaking community in this part of Spain.
In the three short months since, it has received glowing reviews from readers impressed by the content of the news articles and the quality of the publication, while it has proved to be of worth to advertisers in the local area, helping to maximise their reach to the foreign community.
Published each week on a Tuesday, CWN covers news, sports, travel and entertainment topics relevant to expats and foreigners in the southeast of Spain, as well as health, beauty, motoring and more. It also has recipes, horoscopes, a puzzles section and – something which many readers especially appreciate – a handy pull-out TV guide.
If you find yourself away from the Costa Blanca but still want to catch up on all the local news, or if you cannot get your hands on a physical copy of the paper for whatever reason, all you have to do now is visit www.costaweeklynews.com/#editions and click on the edition you wish to read.
The Costa Weekly News is part of the media group Spain Today Online S.L, which also owns the monthly print publication Home & Living Magazine, which is distributed from Alicante all the way down to Mojácar, and the radio station TKO, broadcasting on 91.9FM on the Costa Blanca and on 106.5FM along Murcia’s Costa Cálida.
