The man who lived on his boat had accidentally fallen into the dock
On Friday January 17 at 11am, the body of a 53-year-old British man who lived on a boat in the port of Calpe was found floating in the water of the yacht club.
The man arrived this week in his boat to the Calpe dock from the yacht club of Altea. Before that, he had been staying in the marina of Campomanes.
The victim had previously been rescued on another occasion after falling into the water. The man is believed to have fallen into the water last night.
The Guardia Civil has taken charge of the investigation to get to the bottom of what happened to the deceased.
Furthermore, an autopsy will be carried out at the Forensic Anatomy Institute. However, the death at this moment is believed to have been an accident.
