Black Friday 2025 in Spain: When do the discounts start at H&M, Mango, El Corte Inglés and other major brands?
Black Friday is a tradition born in the US and the last Friday of November is now one of the biggest shopping days of the year in Spain

Black Friday has come a long way from its American roots. What started as a post-Thanksgiving shopping frenzy in the United States has become one of the biggest retail events of the year in Spain, and 2025 looks set to be no exception.
Mark your calendars for Friday November 28, the official Black Friday date, although seasoned bargain hunters know the sales actually kick off days earlier. Most fashion brands now launch their promotional campaigns in the run-up to the big day, extending the discounts through to Cyber Monday the following week. It's essentially become a long weekend of shopping madness.
Expect to see discounts ranging from a modest 10% right up to eye-watering 70% off across product ranges. Perfect timing if you're looking to get ahead on Christmas shopping without breaking the bank.
The savings bonanza runs all weekend long, with major retailers jumping on board. Tech giants like Amazon, MediaMarkt and PcComponentes will naturally be in the thick of it, but fashion lovers have plenty to look forward to as well.
Heavy hitters including Zara, El Corte Inglés and Mango are all preparing their discount strategies to tempt shoppers both online and in store.
When does Black Friday start at H&M and Mango?
The Swedish fast fashion powerhouse H&M typically gets the ball rolling on Thursday evening, particularly on its online platform. If past years are anything to go by, 2025 should follow the same pattern, with discounts of 20% to 50% on seasonal clothing, accessories and wardrobe basics. There's an added bonus for customers who've downloaded the app or signed up to the loyalty programme, as they usually get access to extra perks.
Mango takes a slightly different approach. The Catalan brand tends to be more selective with its sales, focusing discounts on specific lines rather than blanket reductions. In previous years, Mango has offered between 30% and 40% off both in store and online, generally starting Thursday evening.
Sales at El Corte Inglés and other stores
El Corte Inglés has a distinct advantage, housing both its own brands and international labels under one massive roof. The department store giant traditionally launches its Black Friday campaign on the Friday itself, although some early discounts often creep in from Wednesday or Thursday. They're also known for running cross-promotions across different departments, so you might find deals linking fashion with technology or fragrances.
Fashion discounts can hit 40% on selected brands, sweetened by perks like free delivery or click-and-collect options. Other major high street names including Zara (part of the Inditex empire), Stradivarius and Bershka also join the party, typically starting on Thursday evening.
Savvy shoppers can get stuck into Zara's deals from Thursday November 27, available through both the mobile app and website, although you will need to be a registered user. Physical stores will hold off until Black Friday proper on Friday November 28.
All the major Inditex brands are singing from the same hymn sheet for Black Friday 2025, launching their online sales on Thursday November 27 at 8pm through their respective online stores and apps. This includes Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull & Bear, Oysho and Zara Home.
So whether you're after a complete wardrobe overhaul or just fancy picking up a few bargains, Black Friday 2025 is shaping up to be the perfect opportunity to snap up some serious deals from Spain's favourite fashion retailers.
