One half of 2Cellos performs during the 2024 summer Murcia On festival

Stjepan Hauser was formally one half of “2Cellos”, a Croatian cellist duo who released six levels and reached a surprising level of global popularity due to their equal likings for all kinds of music – “from Back to AC/DC”, according to the other member of the duo, Luka Šulić.

At the height of their fame they featured on American TV shows including The Bachelor and Glee, all after their recording of "Smooth Criminal" went viral on YouTube. The debut album included covers of songs by U2, Guns N' Roses, Sting, Coldplay, Nirvana and Michael Jackson, and they appeared with Sir Elton John during his 2011 summer tour and again at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace.

In May 2018, 2Cellos performed the UEFA Champions League Anthem ahead of the Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Liverpool.

At present Stjepan Hauser is continuing to perform on his own, but in a very similar vein to his work in 2Cellos, and his concert at the Plaza de Toros in the city of Murcia on 3^rd August begins at 21.30. Tickets are available online here at 45 and 60 euros.
