Asociación Calblanque

The Asociación Calblanque is a voluntary organisation which carries out activities in the Parque Regional de Calblanque, Monte de las Cenizas and Peña del Águila.

 

Its objectives are:

Increase public awareness about the environment and activities in which the public can participate    Identify and monitor important subjects and themes which affect wildlife or plants , ecosystems or the environment and undertake projects to help conserve them.

 

Volunteers participate in various activities throughout the year, including:

Restoration work in the salt pans and symbolic harvesting of salt in the Salinas del Rasall and Marchamalo.

Replanting with native species and elimination of invasive species    

Build shelters for birds and animals    

Night time bird route

Waste removal and signposting in the Calblanque area etc.
