Andalucía weekly weather forecast August 25-28: Pleasant sunshine and warm temperatures
Temperatures will rise high on Tuesday, but it will mostly be a case of the same warm and sunny conditions we have been experiencing all summer

Andalucía weather forecast, Tuesday August 26
It will be a week of settled conditions in Andalucía, with mostly clear and sunny skies and the high summer temperatures we have become accustomed to. There will be few surprises this week, according to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), who don’t predict any strong winds, sudden storms or heatwaves.
Monday August 25

For Monday, Aemet forecasts slightly cloudy skies for the eastern half of the region, with some overcast conditions coming and going across the course of the day in Almería, Granada and Jaén, with a very small “possibility of occasional showers and storms”. Still, windspeeds will be gentle and every from Málaga and Córdoba westwards should have a fairly standard, sunny summer’s day.
Tuesday August 26

The bright and sunny conditions continue into Tuesday, with maximum temperatures rising slightly by a couple of degrees. The hottest place in the region will be the small northern Jaén town of Arroyo del Ojanco, near the border with Castilla-La Mancha, which will see highs of 39ºC, but the rest of Andalucía will not be nearly as hot this week.
Wednesday August 27

By Wednesday, the temperatures start to drop off a little bit while skies stay clear. Minimum temperatures are expected to remain unchanged while maximum temperatures will “rise on the Mediterranean coast and fall elsewhere,” according to Aemet, which also predicts “variable light winds, tending to moderate westerly winds, with strong gusts on the Mediterranean coast” – up to 25kmh in places like Cádiz and Tarifa, which is really little more than a stiff breeze.
Thursday August 28

Thursday, again, will see a continuation of the clear, sunny skies, with some slightly cloudier conditions in the western half of the region, including the provinces of Huelva and Seville, towards the afternoon. Temperatures are also forecast to ease off a bit, though maximums on the coast should remain “unchanged”. highs on the Mediterranean coast. Moderate westerly winds, with strong gusts on the Mediterranean coast.
It should remain dry and warm – but not too hot – for the weekend, a perfect end to August!
