An exhibition of work by Madrid-born artist Luis Izquierdo is currently on display at the Museo de Bellas Artes de Murcia (MUBAM) in the city of Murcia and can be seen until mid-February 2023.
Izquierdo, who now lives in Murcia, is exhibiting some of his “artist’s books”, in which he combines elements of all the plastic arts in three-dimensional form and with a variety of textures, formats and techniques. This artistic genre has become very popular in recent decades and Luis Izquierdo has become one of the leading exponents in Spain.
The exhibition at the MUBAM lasts until February 12 and can be visited on weekdays except Mondays from 10.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 20.00, on Saturdays from 11.00 to 14.00 and 17.00 to 20.00 and on Sundays and public holidays (and December 24 and 31) from 11.00 to 14.00.
The MUBAM is closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Three Kings Day (January 6).
